What a fantastic evening at the Purple Apple Awards!!! The night was made even more special with one of our clients, The Brewery in Romford, being awarded one of the retail industry’s most celebrated awards for imagination, innovation and excellence in marketing.
Together with Key Lime, The Brewery scooped a Purple Apple for the development and introduction of a variety of initiatives to encourage young people to unlock their potential and realise the career opportunities available to them.
During October half-term, the centre worked closely with Key Lime to create fresh ideas to encourage young people aged 13-21 years to attend the centre and obtain the advice required to develop their skills, understand their options and find their own career path.
BCSC’s Talent Week award scheme recognises Shopping Centre’s commitment to helping young people to showcase their talent within the community. Talent Week at The Brewery was a roaring success with a host of local organisations and retailers including; West Ham FC, Gap and Explore Learning delivering advice, guidance and apprenticeship training schemes to students and young people.
Karen Brooks, Director at Key Lime PR & Marketing said, “We are ecstatic that the Brewery won a Purple Apple, everybody put so much hard work and effort into Talent Week, it is fantastic that this has been recognised by BCSC. Working on this project was a great experience, it is important to give something back to the community and Talent Week certainly achieves that.”
